The National Day of China Parade

The National Day of the People's Republic of China is celebrated every year on October 1. It is a public holiday in China.

The Republic of China (1928 - 1949) was abolished October 1, 1949, instead, Mao Zedong (Communist Party) on that day the PRC was proclaimed. In a ceremony at Tiananmen Square. The members of the Kuomintang (Nationalists) are then fled to Taiwan, and reigns to this day there still. The national day is also one of the begina two Golden Weeks in the PRC. Yet there are questions or golden weeks remain.

The national day is celebrated on the Mainland of China, Hong Kong and Macau. It is organized by the government festivities. Including with fireworks and concerts. Public places such as Tiananmen Square in Beijing, are decorated in a festive atmosphere. Portraits of revered leaders like Sun Yat-sen, will be publicly displayed.

When the National Day of the 50th, 55th or 60th time held, the national day celebrated even come soldiers, policemen and other reinforcements to make sure everything runs smoothly.
